Finally, two examples are used to illustrate Matt MacDonald`s utilisation of IDEA StatiCa – Jakarta Velodrome and Waterloo Station.

Jakarta Velodrome
Mott MacDonald used solutions to extensively to analyse and design complex, earthquake-resistant connections for this iconic and very challenging project: The Jakarta International Velodrome, a venue for the 18th Asian Games of 2018.
Waterloo Station
Britain’s busiest railway station, London Waterloo, is undergoing a £400M upgrade to increase capacity. Mott MacDonald alongside another IDEA StatiCa customer “Bourne Group” are working on this project, comprising of a new infill roof bringing Waterloo and Waterloo International Stations together to form a new single 24 platform railway station.
