About IDEA StatiCa

We develop software for structural engineers and detailers. Our development team researches, tests, and applies new methods of analyzing the behaviour of structures and their members. Based on this, we created IDEA StatiCa – software that enables engineers to work faster, evaluate requirements of the national code thoroughly, and use the optimal amount of material. For us, creating software is a way to contribute to making every new construction around the world safer and cheaper.

FREE EDUCATIONAL LICENSE FOR INDIVIDUALS

Every student or teacher can apply for a FREE educational license of IDEA StatiCa for 12 months. This license is for learning and working on various student assignments and projects (e.g. theses). The license has watermarks, limited report capabilities, and projects created in it are not compatible with commercial licenses. This license is neither for universities nor can it be used commercially. Universities are required to purchase the Academic license.

DISCOUNTED ACADEMIC LICENSES FOR UNIVERSITIES

Every university or similar institution is eligible for special discounted licenses of IDEA StatiCa. They might be with or without watermarks. IDEA StatiCa and its resellers provide full technical support, premium content, and all the upgrades to our Academic customers.

R&D PARTNERSHIPS

We involve third-party experts in all phases of the product development cycle – from primary research of methods and testing prototypes to validation and verification of the actual results coming from the software. Our key partners include ETH Zurich, Czech Technical University in Prague, and HILTI. And we are looking for more!
