Our first event in the UK, a workshop for IDEA Connection and CBFEM was successfully held in iStructE headquarters in London last week, with main speakers Professor Frantisek Wald from University of Prague (a pioneer in connection design and member of the technical committee TC 10 Connections of ECCS) and our collegues from IDEA RS, Mr. Lubomir Sabatka – CEO and Mr. Juraj Sabatka – International sales & Marketing manager.

The attendants, coming from some of the most respectable engineering firms in the UK, like ARUP, BuroHappold, Thomassons, Pell Frischmann, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, and others, had the opportunity to be informed by the creators of CBFEM and IDEA Connection about this new technology that opens a new era in steel connection design, and what it can offer to structural engineers.

The feedback that we got during and after the workshop was very positive, and everyone was impressed by the simplicity, the flexibility, the intelligence and the competitive advantage that CBFEM and IDEA Connection have to offer.

Our next event in iStructE will be held on January 27th in the main auditorium with the same content and speakers, and will be completely open to the public, giving the opportunity to even more structural engineers to be informed. So make sure you register because the seats are limited!
