About IDEA StatiCa

We develop software for structural engineers and detailers. Our development team researches, tests, and applies new methods of analyzing the behaviour of structures and their members. Based on this, we created IDEA StatiCa – software that enables engineers to work faster, evaluate requirements of the national code thoroughly, and use the optimal amount of material. For us, creating software is a way to contribute to making every new construction around the world safer and cheaper.

The BIM links are an indispensable part of IDEA StatiCa saving plenty of design time for complex connections. The export of nodes with all internal forces from RSTAB to IDEA StatiCa offers the structural engineer more time for designing and code-checking the joints according to the code.

One of the world’s leading structural analysis software is certainly RSTAB and RFEM from the Dlubal. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the BIM connection for RFEM/RSTAB is also available in IDEA StatiCa. Users can take advantage of time savings and avoid all unnecessary mistakes instead of having to create a detailed model of the connection from scratch.

For this webinar, we will join forces with the Dlubal team to introduce you to the RSTAB BIM link with IDEA StatiCa and explain how to go through the design process step by step. In doing so, we will use all current functions of the Code Check Manager for BIM links.

Do you often face late project changes in your structural model? Don’t worry, the BIM link can automatically synchronize the exported model in just a few steps. We will show you exactly how in this upcoming webinar.
