We are thrilled to announce that IDEA StatiCa now has a US office. After years of development and localization of our products for the US engineering community it was high time to take the next step.
IDEA StatiCa US’s office is located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia, PA. It is led by Dave Eckrote, an experienced structural engineer and manager.
We would like to thank our current US customers of IDEA StatiCa for putting trust in us and helping us to shape the product for the US market. Our unique solution for steel connection design has revolutionized the way 5000+ engineering offices and fabricators around the world work. The main purpose of IDEA StatiCa US is to be as close to our US customers as possible – in technical support, customer feedback and working with the engineering community.

Meet Dave Eckrote
Dave has had a diverse career in structural engineering from design of various types of buildings to educating other engineers about ways to save time and money on their projects through software and design options. He volunteers his time to work on the board of Structural Engineers Association of Pennsylvania, chairs the Northeast Coalition of Structural Engineers Associations and works on the Program Committee of Mid-Atlantic Steel Fabricators Association. He is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and holds a Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania. He lives in Mount Laurel, NJ with his wife, Julie. When he is not working, you will probably find him on a golf course.
