“The presented figure corresponds to an investigation carried out at the University of Chile, by Dr Ricardo Herrera, in which I had the opportunity to participate, oriented to the qualification of a connection to moment, using numerical and experimental study, reaching a favourable performance as established in AISC-341.
From that research, I decided to verify using a commercial software called IDEA StatiCa, finding the possibility to analyze and design this connection.
