About IDEA StatiCa

We develop software for structural engineers and detailers. Our development team researches, tests, and applies new methods of analyzing the behaviour of structures and their members. Based on this, we created IDEA StatiCa – software that enables engineers to work faster, evaluate requirements of the national code thoroughly, and use the optimal amount of material. For us, creating software is a way to contribute to making every new construction around the world safer and cheaper.

Our toolkit transforms even the most demanding concrete design tasks to something trivial. Any section, any member for any boundary condition can be analyzed and checked, for any reinforcement position.Prestressed members are also supported. Any tendon geometry is allowed and checked at any construction phase.

UNIQUE METHOD & ENGINE

Our section checks have been validated thoroughly by numerous comparison calculations. Together with university ETH in Zurich, we have also created and tested a method called Compatible Stress Field Method (CSFM) for the design of discontinuities.
