A. J. Pericleous LLC invests in IDEA StatiCa
It is a great pleasure for IDEA StatiCa to welcome A. J. Pericleous LLC is a new customer, an awarded and leading civil and structural engineering firm in Cyprus.
A. J. Pericleous LLC was established in 1994, succeeding the consulting firm N. S. Roussos and J. Pericleous Consultants Civil Engineers and Architects which was originally established in 1938 as one of the first firms of its kind in Cyprus.
In 2015 the firm was shortlisted for a Structural Award by the iStructE, in the category of Small Engineering Practices for their project of the SBAA Environmental Center and it was selected among 300 projects from around the globe for their structural engineering.
A. J. Pericleous LLC has been involved in some of the biggest projects in the country, in cooperation with leading global engineering firms like Thorton Thomasseti and BG&E. Between their latest iconic projects are the TRILOGY LIMASSOL SEAFRONT, the AGIA NAPA MARINA TOWERS and the SKYTOWER in Limassol, and we are already looking forward to seeing their next projects where IDEA StatiCa will be used!
Mr. Yiannis Pericleous said: “Our engineering practice has extensive experience in the design of steel structures. The detailing of connections was always an issue because we had to utilize several software which used analytical solutions or even model connections with FEM to do stress analysis. We decided to go to IDEA StatiCa to resolve the need to use different software and also improve our efficiency. We can now model any geometry and loading, carry out 3D stress analysis and capacity design checks with Eurocode with one software.”
