The European Convention for Constructional Steelwork ECCS created Charles Massonnet Award to recognize a prominent scientist who highly contributed to the advancement of scientific and technical support to constructional steelwork, and who had worked or is working in a Technical Committee of ECCS as a Full Member, as a Chairman or as Secretary of one of the mentioned committees. The Charles Massonnet Award is presented every year by an ECCS member association.

We are proud to announce that IDEA StatiCa has been chosen by Severfield plc to help the design department further improve the design process for steel connection design.

New Steel Construction magazine (NSC) published a very interesting article about the redevelopment of Waterloo Station in London, where 2 of our customers (Mott MacDonald and Bourne Steel) were involved. IDEAStatiCa was used extensively in this project and helped to overcome the big challenges of this project.

In less than 3 years since the official lunch of IDEA StatiCa in the UK, we are delighted to have as our customers 6 out of the 10 TOP UK Steel Fabricators.

Juraj and Adam demonstrated that IDEA StatiCa Connection is still the only program worldwide that can design and code-check all steel connections. Thanks for all the good discussions how to take workflows of engineers and fabricators to another level!

Coming to the end of 2017, we are really happy that 40% of the TOP15 UK Steel Fabricators are using IDEA StatiCa. Reaching this milestone in such a relatively short time that the software has been introduced in the UK market, shows how popular IDEA StatiCa is becoming among UK Steel Fabricators.  And of course, we are really excited about 2018!!
