Based on this, we created IDEA StatiCa – software that enables engineers to work faster, evaluate requirements of the national code thoroughly, and use the optimal amount of material. Technical Solutions Consultant
The Technical Solutions Consultant bridges the gap between the use of advanced structural analysis & design technology and the needs of engineering professionals. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to help clients understand, adopt, and maximize the value of our software solutions.
The ideal candidate combines a background in structural engineering with an interest in technology and client engagement, enabling them to position our solutions as the standard for efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Engaging with engineers, designers, and decision-makers to assess their workflows and technical challenges.
Demonstrating how our structural analysis and design software addresses these challenges through tailored presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
Supporting the sales process by providing technical insights, solution design, and industry expertise.
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients—guiding them through best practices, integration strategies, and compliance with relevant design codes.
Collaborating with product, support, and marketing teams to relay client feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
General skills and experience:
Civil or structural engineering background
Keen interest in software products for structural engineering
Strong presentation skills, written and oral communication
Commercial awareness
Self-motivation, enthusiasm and initiative – and with a level of confidence to fit quickly into a team
Knowledge of at least one CAE/FEA software used by structural engineers like SCIA Engineer, Dlubal RFEM, Advance Design or Buildsoft. CAD software (Tekla, Revit) knowledge is a plus.
