IDEA StatiCa and Southampton Solent University held a seminar in 2016, focusing in on the Design of Steel Connections with the new CBFEM method and IDEA Connection.

All engineers located in the south part of England were welcome to join, given the opportunity to discover a new breakthrough technology that has revolutionize the Steel connection design.

The seminar presented an introduction to CBFEM from a research and practical perspective. We covered the theoretical background, as well as introduce IDEA Statica, a software application that utilizes CBFEM for the design of Steel Connections.
