It’s been a very busy last couple of months at TechScience, with our participation in 3 different events through out the UK, as part of our continuous effort to promote IDEA StatiCa, this unique solution for the analysis & design of Steel connections, and spread the word about the incredible possibilites that offers to structural engineers.
Through these events, we had the chance to engage with many structural engineers, and demonstrate live the powerful features of IDEA StatiCa. The feedback that we got was very promising, and encourage us to continue persuing our goal, which is to make IDEA StatiCa, the UK’s No.1 software for the design of steel connections.
UK Construction Week 2016
Our first stop was the UK Construction Week in Birmingham, the UK’s largest construction trade event. Taking place at the Birmingham NEC from 10 – 12 October 2017 the event united over 650 exhibitors with an audience of over 30,000 trade visitors.
Except from our engagement with the visitors through our stand, we had the opportunity to make a short presentation at the BIM Prospects theatre, one of the stages of UK Construction week.
Digital Construction Week 2016
Next stop was the Digital Construction Week 2016 in London, an event that was held for the second consecutive year, and explores the impact of technology and innovation in the build environment. Digital construction week is the only conference and exhibition focused only on industry transformation through innovation and technology.
Of course, IDEA StatiCa, being probably the most innovative structural engineering software of the last decade, fitted perfectly in that event, since it completely changes the way we calculate steel connections, and will probably be the standard for the years to come.
2016 TEKLA Conference
Our final stop – and last event for the year – was the 2016 TEKLA Conference that was held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry, where we were invited by TEKLA to demonstrate IDEA StatiCa throughout the day in the exhibition area.
Trimble/Tekla is one of our partners in the AEC industry, and our development teams are working closely to create links between our software, and provide a BIM workflow to our users that allows them to improve their productivity.
During the event we had the chance to demonstrate to the participants the powerful link between TEKLA Structures and IDEA StatiCa, that provides a seemless exchange of the 3D model, thus saving a great amount of time and effort.
